Surat Businessman Gifts Over Rs 1 Lakh in Diwali Bonus to Each Employee, Video Goes Viral

A textile businessman from Surat, Gujarat, has made Diwali extra special for his employees with an extraordinary gesture of generosity. Ramswaroop Munde has grabbed attention for gifting more than Rs 1 lakh in cash to each of his 20 employees as a Diwali bonus. A video of the unique gesture has gone viral on social media.

While most companies traditionally celebrate Diwali by distributing sweets, dry fruits or modest cash bonuses, Munde surprised everyone by presenting each employee with a cash gift exceeding Rs 1 lakh.

What made the gesture even more special was the way the money was presented. Instead of handing over cash in ordinary envelopes, bundles of freshly issued currency notes were beautifully arranged on silver-coloured ceremonial puja trays. The trays featured currency notes in different denominations, ranging from Rs 10 to Rs 500, and were handed over to the employees by their respective wives.

The employees were visibly overwhelmed by the unexpected gifts. Some were even seen shedding tears of joy and gratitude in the viral video.

Explaining his gesture, businessman Ramswaroop Munde said that he considers his employees members of his own family rather than merely workers at his establishment. He wanted them to celebrate Diwali happily with their families without worrying about financial difficulties.

Following the video’s circulation on social media, netizens have been showering praise on the businessman for his generosity. Many users expressed their wish to work for an employer with such a compassionate attitude.

Several social media users also remarked that while money can make someone wealthy, it is a generous heart that makes a person truly rich.

The businessman’s thoughtful gesture has set a heartwarming example of the bond between employers and employees, making this Diwali particularly memorable for all 20 families.
