Following widespread discussions over the increased ticket prices for the much-anticipated film Roi Roi Binale, the film’s team has successfully negotiated with cinema authorities, including PVR, Cinepolis, and other theater chains, to address the issue.
The price hike was attributed to a “Dynamic Pricing” system, where ticket prices rise once a film’s seat booking reaches 60%, with further increases at 80% occupancy. This pricing model is commonly applied across all films in the industry.
However, the Roi Roi Binale team took a firm stand, requesting cinema authorities to exempt the film from this dynamic pricing structure and refrain from increasing ticket prices. The authorities have agreed to this proposal.
In an official statement, Team Roi Roi Binale announced, “We are pleased to inform you that within the next 1-2 hours, fans will be able to purchase tickets for Roi Roi Binale at the original, pre-determined prices.”
This decision is expected to make the film more accessible to fans, particularly those of Late Zubeen Garg, who have been eagerly awaiting its release. The move reflects the team’s commitment to ensuring affordability for their audience.
