World Bio Fuel Day 2023 has been successfully organized and celebrated at Guwahati Biotech Park today. The programme has been organized by Blue Core Energy (Redlemon Technologies Pvt. Ltd) in association with Honda (Spectrum Honda) with support from NECTAR, Govt. of India and Industry and Commerce Dept. Govt. of Assam. Mr. Pankaj Gogoi, founder of Blue Core Energy started with the welcome address and shared the insights of organizing the World Bio Fuel day in Guwahati for the first time in Guwahati with support from different stakeholders and showcased the 5TPD CBG plant initiative across Guwahati region to convert wastes to energy. Mr. Sajjad Alam, Joint Secretary to Industries and Commerce and Public Enterprise, Govt. of Assam shared the initiatives of Bio fuel concepts across the state and emphasized the need for adopting to bio fuel concepts. He also gave various examples of initiatives which are coming up with the biofuel industry along with like of Assam Bio Refinery Limited and CBG initiatives by Blue Core Energy.
Mr. Narendra Sarawgi, Sr. Policy Advisor, ARIAS Society, Govt. of Assam spoke about the various agricultural schemes that are being incorporated for the support of the startups and entreprenuers in the agriculture. He also emphasized about new innovations in the bio tech field which is need of the hour for development in agriculture. Dr.Loh Siawee , Sobono Energy, Singapore spoke about the importance of World Bio Fuel Day how globally has been adopted . He also shared about the initiatives undertaken in Singapore to manage the environment clean and convert wastes to energy across Singapore. He also emphasized in segregation of wastes to convert biogas and biodiesel for the cities and he has seen this transformation over these years.
Mr. Simanta Das , Chief Radio Officer , NECTAR spoke about the different initiatives of NECTAR in the field of Compressed BioGas and how the transformation is happening in this space across India .
A discussion and an understanding was made where Guwahati Biotech Park initiated by Dr. Bula Choudhury , Sr. Scientist , Guwahati Biotech Park and Blue Core Energy and Sobono Energy will work on the solution of Boragaon ,Guwahati to make the city cleaner and the team will work with the support of different stakeholders.
A Farmer App of Blue Core Energy for empowering their partners in the CBG was made live by Mr. Narendra Sarawgi in the programme to empower and foster their raw material supply and the team is targeting to onboard 5000 farmers in a year ‘s time .

A technical session was also organized on the exploration of “CBG Gas Production through end to end Technology Solutions “where different startups and entreprenuers showcased their innovations with presentations. Teams like Farmgenic, Zymolent, ADUP who are working in different kinds of innovations in the field of bio technology and allied industries. Mr. Abinash Kumar, ADE, National Research Development Corporation(NRDC) showcase the IPR benefits and offerings for startups and entreprenuers.
Students and startups from Assam Engineering College, Bineswar Brahma Engineering College , Jorhat Engineering College , research fellows from Assam Science and Technology University and IIT G , Agricultural experts and scientists , Farmers , MSMEs , businessman and industrialists across different parts of India and abroad joined through online method came together during the programme to celebrate the World BioFuel Day 2023 .
