Veteran Journalist Nitya Bora Passes Away at 83
Eminent journalist, thoughtful writer, and editor of ‘Samprotik Samayiki’, Nitya Bora, breathed his last today at a private hospital in Jorhat. He was 83 years old and had been suffering from prolonged illness.
The mortal remains of Nitya Bora will be brought to Guwahati today. His last rites will be performed tomorrow at the Navagraha Crematorium.
Nitya Bora was a respected senior journalist known for his insightful writings and long contribution to Assamese journalism. His passing has left a deep void in the media fraternity of Assam.
