The joint team of 9 Assam Rifles and Changlang district police apprehended two active cadres of NSCN-R from Nakang area in Changlang on 22 November.
The cadres have been identified as SS Corporal Wangphik Khosai (20) and SS 2nd Lieutenant Ngongpong Hondique (30). The cadres were involved in forceful extortion in Changlang and Tirap district.
