Taj Mahal reopens today | 650 visitors to be allowed at one time

Guwahati, June 16 (NKTV): The Taj Mahal is all set to open for tourists and visitors today onwards. This comes after the Archaeological Survey of India notified that all the centrally protected monuments, museums and sites closed for around two months due to the Covid pandemic will reopen on June 16. However, only 650 people will be allowed to enter the premises of Taj Mahal at a time, officials informed.

650 tourists will be allowed inside the Taj Mahal premises at one point of time so that Covid protocols are followed, such restrictions will not be in place for other monuments, District Magistrate, Agra Prabhu N Singh said.

Masks are mandatory for all visitors.

Ticket counters shall remain closed and visitors have to book tickets online.
