SLAC Cricket begins, City Cricket emerge as victorious in the first match

Highly anticipated SLAC Pride Cup T-20 Cricket tournament kick started today. City Cricket Club defeated Bud Cricket Club in the first match of the tournament by 13 runs. Winning the toss, Bud Cricket Club decided to field first. City Cricket scored 146 runs for loss of 8 wickets in the first innings.

Chasing down the target, Bud Cricket team could only manage to score 133 in their 20 overs. Rohan Hazarika, for his impressive innings of 49 runs was given the player of the match award.
