Guwahati, June 15 (NKTV): World no. 1 Novak Djokovic on Sunday won his 19th Grand Slam title and is now only one win away to be at par with Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal, who have won 20 titles each.
Speaking to the media Djokovic said that he never felt felt it was an impossible task to catch up to Federer and Nadal’s record. “I am still not there. Nadal and Federer are still playing great, but I never felt that it was impossible (to catch up)” Djokovic said. “I will keep on chasing, but at the same time, I will keep paving my own authentic path” he added.
Djokovic also informed that he puts a lot of time into mental training. “My journey has been terrific so far, I achieved a lot of things many people didn’t think were possible” he added.
