After winning his fifth IPL trophy in history, legendary cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni announced that he will desperately try to make his return next season, and he wants to give something back to the fans, who cheered him throughout the course of the season. Notably, the stumper-batter was also spotted signing the camera after the match, a new phenomenon that is developed in recent times, especially when an athlete wins a title or says goodbye to the game. Sachin Tendulkar was seen doing the same after he called his time from international cricket.

Coming to the game, Gujrat Titans were superb with the bat in the first innings. Shubman Gill and Wriddhiman Saha gave the perfect start possible, and even after the youngster was sent back to the pavilion, GT didn’t slow down. The Bengal-born stumper-batter Saha was once again phenomenal on the night of the finals as he hit 54 runs off 39 deliveries. Later on, 21-year-old Sai Sudharsan took control of the situation and smacked 96 runs off 47 deliveries as the Hardik Pandya-led side posted 214 runs in 20 overs.
