Rudra Theatre artists allegedly left stranded on Morigaon footpaths for three days
Several artists associated with Rudra Theatre have allegedly been forced to spend the past three days at a roadside rest shed and on footpaths near Morigaon Taxi Stand.

According to the artists, they have not received any payment since the theatre group began its current season. They also alleged that the theatre authorities failed to provide proper food and accommodation.
The artists reportedly came out to return home but were left stranded due to a lack of money. They also claimed to have approached the police for help but received no assistance.
The allegations have raised concerns over the treatment and payment of theatre artists in Assam’s mobile theatre industry
