Guwahati, August 16 (NKTV): The state of Mizoram registered 249 new positive cases of Covid-19. With this, the state’s tally rose to 48,711 on Monday, informed the Health Department.
One more fatality in the last 24 hours pushed the toll to 182, he said.
Aizawl reported the highest number of new cases at 193 followed by Siaha (16), Lawngtlai (15), Mamit (8) and Serchhip (5). Lunglei, Champhai, Kolasib and Hnahthial districts reported 3 cases each, he said.
Mizoram presently has 9,836 active Covid-19 cases, while 38,693 people have recovered from the infection, including 1,067 people on Sunday.
