Guwahati, July 8 (NKTV): In an operation against Teer Gambling by Mankachar Police, three individuals have been apprehended who were illicitly running the gambling dealings in the region.
The apprehended individuals have been identified as Lichu Miya, Nur Haque and Nur Alam. Over Rs 18,000 in cash have been recovered from them along with record books and calculators. A case has been registered against the trio.
It may be mentioned here that there are numerous Teer counters in South Salmara, running the Teer trade with ease.
The police is continuing investigation.
