As temperatures continue to soar across several parts of the country, an increasing number of tourists are flocking to the picturesque Bhaderwah valley in Jammu and Kashmir to escape the summer heat. To ensure a safe and secure experience for visitors, security agencies have put in place extensive arrangements across the region’s major tourist destinations.

Comprehensive security measures have been deployed at key tourist attractions, including Jai Valley, Padri, and Guldanda. Personnel from the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) 33 Battalion, the Special Operations Group (SOG), Jammu and Kashmir Police, and other security agencies have been stationed at strategic locations to maintain vigilance and facilitate the smooth movement of tourists.

Officials said robust security arrangements have been established to provide a safe environment for the growing number of visitors arriving in the valley during the peak tourist season. Security personnel are conducting regular patrols and surveillance operations at major tourist sites and along important routes to prevent any untoward incidents and provide assistance whenever required.

The visible presence of security forces has instilled confidence among tourists, many of whom have expressed satisfaction with the arrangements and appreciated the efforts being made to ensure their safety.

Sharing his experience, a tourist said the atmosphere in Bhaderwah felt noticeably different due to the enhanced security deployment.

“We can clearly see the security presence, which makes us feel safe. The area is well maintained, hygiene standards are good, and the weather is pleasant. We have come here with our family and are thoroughly enjoying our visit,” he said.

Apart from the security arrangements, visitors have also praised the cleanliness and well-maintained surroundings at various tourist destinations. Families, groups of friends, and solo travellers have been exploring the valley’s lush green meadows, pleasant climate, and scenic landscapes without any safety concerns.

Security agencies are working in close coordination to ensure that tourists can travel freely and enjoy the natural beauty of the region. Authorities have maintained a high level of preparedness in response to the steady influx of visitors witnessed in recent weeks.

Bhaderwah has emerged as a preferred destination for travellers seeking relief from the heatwave conditions prevailing in many parts of the country. With tourist footfall continuing to rise and security measures firmly in place, authorities remain committed to providing a safe, secure, and hassle-free experience for all visitors to the valley.
