International Olympic Day 2021 celebrated by Assam Olympic Association
Guwahati, June 23 (NKTV): The Assam Olympic Association celebrated International Olympic Day on 23rd June 2021. There was a Video Conference among the Greater Sports Fraternity of Assam, in which the VC was graced by the President of Assam Olympic Association Sarbananda Sonowal and President of Indian Olympic Association Dr. Narinder Dhruv Batra. Assam Olympic Association also conducted online Drawing and Essay Writing Competition among the students of classes 6 to graduation in which around 300 students participated. The results of the competitions will be announced within 48 hours.
In the meeting held at AOA, the General Secretary Lakhya Konwar, Director of Department of Sports & Youth Welfare Pabitra Ram Khaund, Y Subba Rao, former captain of Indian volleyball team and international player; Binit ray ,captain senior national volleyball team; Binod Negi , international volleyball player and representative of Indian volleyball team and other officials and players were present.
