Hero Intercontinental Cup: India to face Vanuatu in historic football match

India will clash against Vanuatu in the next round of the 2023 Hero Intercontinental Cup league games on Monday at Kalinga Stadium. The Intercontinental Cup is an essential practice for Sunil Chhetri and the company before the SAFF championship. India vs Vanuatu will be India’s second game in the 2023 Intercontinental Cup as they played their first game against Mongolia and won 2-0.

Currently, Lebanon and the Blue Tigers are tied for first place on the table with the same number of points. On the other side, Vanuatu participated in the season-opening game against Lebanon, which they sadly lost 3-1 on Friday.

They will play their second match of the competition and will be driven to change their situation. To sum up, it will be the first time Vanuatu and India play a football match against one another.
