Guwahati, August 05 (NKTV): As per the latest weather reports, parts of Northeast India are set to experience augmented rainfall this weekend, as heavy monsoon showers have been forecast across the region on August 07 and 08.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted isolated heavy to very heavy falls over the northeastern states on Saturday and Sunday.
The IMD’s regional met centre in Guwahati adds that Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura will start experiencing moderate showers and thunderstorms from Thursday itself.
Isolated heavy to very heavy showers that are on the horizon may remain restricted to just Assam and Meghalaya over the weekend.
