Hardik Pandya Named in India A Squad for Australia A Series

Star all-rounder Hardik Pandya has been included in India A’s 15-member squad for the upcoming three-match one-day series against Australia A in Puducherry.

The series will begin on October 6, with the second and third matches scheduled for October 9 and 11.

Ruturaj Gaikwad will captain the one-day side, while Devdutt Padikkal has been named vice-captain.

The squad also features Sai Sudharsan, Rajat Patidar, Kumar Kushagra, Naman Dhir, Arshin Kulkarni and Prabhsimran Singh, among others.

Pandya and V Vyshak are subject to fitness clearance from the BCCI.

The BCCI has also announced a separate India A squad for the two multi-day matches, with Padikkal as captain and Sudharsan as vice-captain.

All five matches of the Australia A series will be played in Puducherry, giving several young and established Indian players valuable match practice ahead of their international commitments.
