Guwahati, June 27 (NKTV): A constable of GRP (Government Railway Police) on Saturday, during routine checking at the Lumding Junction Railway Station, recovered five gold biscuits from a passenger’s bag.
Reportedly, the constable of GRP Prantosh Nandi found the behaviour of a passenger on the Sealdah–Agartala Kanchenjunga Express suspicious and on subsequent checking, gold biscuits were recovered from the passenger’s bag.
The passenger is presently in police custody. Further investigation is underway.
