Gauhati High Court Refuses to Hear Shyamkanu Mahanta’s Bail Plea
The Gauhati High Court today did not take up the bail application of Shyamkanu Mahanta, an accused in the sensational Zubeen Garg death case.
The bail plea was listed at serial number 5 before Justice Parthivjyoti Saikia. However, the judge did not entertain the application, and as a result, the hearing could not be held today.
No immediate reason was officially stated for not taking up the matter. The next date for hearing is yet to be scheduled.
This development comes as the trial in the high-profile murder case continues in the Fast Track Court.
