Guwahati, August 03 (NKTV): A total 622 kilograms of Ganja have been seized at Srirampur today morning while being illegally transported by smugglers.
The police seized a truck during regular checking at a naka checkpoint. One of the drivers of the truck fled from the spot while others were arrested, officials informed.
The arrested individuals have been identified as Pritam Singh and Tapas Adhikari from Kolkata.
The police has informed that the seized ganja is worth approximately Rs 1.25 crore.
