Gaddar & Siprang Not Part of BJP’s Culture: Dilip Saikia

12

BJP Assam President Dilip Saikia has strongly cautioned party leaders and workers against using words like “Gaddar” (betrayal) and “Siprang” (factionalism), stating that such language is not part of the Bharatiya Janata Party’s culture.

Addressing the ongoing internal discussions, Saikia said, “These words should not be used by anyone — whether senior or junior. All must strictly follow party discipline.”

He further advised, “If anyone has any grievance or dissatisfaction, they should submit it in writing to the party. The disciplinary committee will take necessary action.”

Dilip Saikia’s firm statement comes amid recent internal debates and allegations of factionalism within the party ahead of the Assam Legislative Assembly Elections.

He emphasised that the BJP believes in unity and collective strength, and any internal issues should be resolved within the party framework.
