Several regions across India continue to grapple with intense heat, with the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasting persistent heatwave conditions in parts of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and the Vidarbha region in the coming days. In contrast, Delhi experienced a brief reprieve from the heat on Sunday, as overcast skies and gusty winds swept across the capital.
Meanwhile, Nagpur in Maharashtra emerged as the hottest spot in the country on Saturday, clocking a blistering 44.7°C, according to a Times of India report. This temperature surpassed Friday’s already high 43°C, marking the city’s hottest day so far this season.
In the north, Jammu and Kashmir is under a severe weather advisory, with the IMD warning of heavy rainfall due to an incoming western disturbance.
