Food Poisoning Outbreak in Majuli: Over 130 Fall Ill After Consuming ‘Prasad’
In a concerning incident, over 130 people fell ill due to suspected food poisoning at Mudoibeel Tokowbari village in Majuli.
According to reports, 138 villagers developed symptoms of food poisoning shortly after consuming ‘Prasad’ during a religious ceremony. The affected individuals were immediately rushed to the Pitambardev Goswami Hospital in Garmur for treatment.
Hospital authorities have confirmed that all patients are currently receiving medical care and their conditions are gradually improving.
