Dilip Saikia Exudes Confidence Ahead of Assam Election Results

Just one day before the declaration of results for the Assam Legislative Assembly Elections, BJP Assam President Dilip Saikia expressed strong confidence in a massive victory for the NDA alliance.

Addressing the media, Saikia claimed that the people of Assam have extended unprecedented support to the BJP this time. He asserted that the BJP alone is set to win 80 to 90 seats, while its alliance partners — AGP and BPF — are expected to secure around 20 seats.

He further stated that the NDA alliance will comfortably cross the 100-seat mark, ensuring a strong mandate for another term.

Taking a dig at the opposition, Saikia questioned, “On what basis are the opposition parties hoping to form the government? Let them show at least three reasons why the public should support them.”

He also announced that victory celebrations will be organised at the BJP’s state headquarters as well as all district offices once the results are declared.

With the results scheduled to be announced tomorrow, Dilip Saikia’s bold predictions have further heightened the political atmosphere across the state.
