Dibrugarh | Doctor arrested for alleged rape of colleague
Guwahati, June 29 (NKTV): A doctor of the Assam Medical College and Hospital (AMCH) in Dibrugarh has been arrested on charges of alleged rape. The accused, Dr Sunmoni Bhuyan, has been alleged of raping a colleague.
An FIR has been filed against Dr Bhuyan stating that he had tricked the victim into a physical relationship with promises of getting married.
According to sources, both were in a relationship since 2018. The lady has also accused Bhuyan of blackmail and extortion of money.
