City Police Commissioner Diganta Bora has a special request to those who stay in Guwahati and want to go to their village homes on the occasion of Bihu. The police commissioner appealed the citizens not to leave the home in the city without any caretaker.
Commenting on the police raids on Bhogali Bihu night, Commissioner of Police Diganta Bora said– Bhogali Bihu is a time of joy, if we fill it with police and security personnel, then how will it be? On December 31, we have been successful with the support of the people we have not done much on behalf of the police but the people have helped us. We hope people will help us on Bhogali Bihu too.
