BCCI announces Indian squad for ICC World Test Championship Finals

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the Indian squad for upcoming ICC test championship finals to be held in England. Virat Kohli will lead the side with Ajinkya Rahane as vice captain. Star batsman KL Rahul and wicket keeper Wriddhiman Saha have also been included in the squad but will join the squad once their fitness tests are done.

The BCCI, in a tweet wrote, “The All-India Senior Selection Committee has picked the Indian squad for the inaugural ICC World Test Championship (WTC) final and the five-match Test series against England.”

Abhimanyu Easwaran, Prasidh Krishna, Avesh Khan and Arzan Nagwaswalla have been named as standby players by the Indian cricket board.

Virat Kohli (C), Ajinkya Rahane (VC), Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, Mayank Agarwal, Cheteshwar Pujara, Hanuma Vihari, Rishabh Pant (WK), Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel, Washington Sundar, Jasprit Bumrah, Ishant Sharma, Mohammad Shami, Mohammad Siraj, Shardul Thakur and Umesh Yadav.
