Assam Cash for Marks Scam | 6 arrested
Guwahati, July 18 (NKTV): The Assam Police has detained six officials of the Education Department of Assam for alleged involvement in the recent Cash for Marks Scam.
It may be mentioned here that a team of Assam Poice on Saturday had conducted a raid at the Office of the Kamrup Inspectorate of Schools in connection with the scam.
The arrested officials were allegedly involved in accepting cash and in return, providing better marks to students.
