AGP Legislative Party Meeting Concludes; Atul Bora Elected as Leader

The Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) Legislative Party meeting was held today at the party’s Ambari office in Guwahati with the newly elected MLAs.

The meeting was attended by AGP President Atul Bora along with other senior leaders and central observers.

After the internal meeting, a joint meeting of BJP and AGP was also held in the presence of BJP Assam President Dilip Saikia and other top leaders of both parties.

Key Decisions:

• Atul Bora was unanimously elected as the Leader of the AGP Legislative Party.
• Keshab Mahanta was elected as Deputy Leader.
• Dr. Tapan Das was elected as Secretary of the Legislative Party.
• Dharmeswar Roy was elected as Chief Whip.

After the meeting, AGP President Atul Bora addressed the media and shared the decisions taken during the legislative party meeting.

This development is significant as the AGP prepares to join the NDA government for the third consecutive term in Assam.
