Major Detention at Kamakhya Station: Railway police intercepted and detained 57 Bangladeshi nationals at Kamakhya Junction Railway Station.
Fleeing from Jammu & Kashmir: Reports indicate that this group had fled from Jammu & Kashmir and traveled to Assam aboard the Brahmaputra Mail train.
Citywide Interceptions:
- Dispur Police rounded up 4 Bangladeshi nationals during daytime operations on Thursday.
- Over the past 24 hours, 18 more Bangladeshi nationals were detained at the Paltan Bazaar (Guwahati) Railway Station.
The operations were carried out following swift intelligence and heightened security vigilance by the Railway Police and city law enforcement.
