Pakistani Spy Abhishek Kumar Singh in STF Custody; Second Suspect Arrested Following Interrogation
Sensational details have emerged during the interrogation of Abhishek Kumar Singh, an alleged agent of Pakistani intelligence currently in the custody of the Special Task Force (STF).
Singh had been staying in the Satgaon area of Guwahati since June this year. He was arrested on charges of leaking sensitive military information to Pakistan. The initial intelligence regarding his espionage activities was gathered by the Army’s Gajraj Intelligence unit, which subsequently shared the information with Tezpur Police. Acting on this intelligence, Tezpur Police coordinated with the STF to apprehend Singh.
Based on revelations made by Singh during initial questioning, authorities have arrested another individual linked to the case. The STF has not yet disclosed the identity of the second arrestee as investigations continue.
