Zubeen Garg’s Legacy to be Taught in Schools: His Life and Works Included in Class 9 & 10 Curriculum
In a significant decision, the Assam Education Department has included the life and works of legendary singer Zubeen Garg in the curriculum of Class 9 and Class 10.
This step has been taken on the instructions of Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma and Education Minister to keep the memory of the beloved artist alive among the new generation.
According to the Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB), questions related to Zubeen Garg will be asked in every future examination.
This initiative is being widely appreciated as a fitting tribute to the iconic artist who left an indelible mark on Assamese music and culture.
