ACA Appoints Former India U-19 Captain Kiran Powar as Head Coach of Assam Senior Men’s Team

The Assam Cricket Association (ACA) has officially appointed Kiran Rajaram Powar as the Head Coach of the Assam Senior Men’s Team for the upcoming domestic cricket season.

The appointment will see Powar take charge of the team across major domestic tournaments, including the prestigious Ranji Trophy along with other limited-overs competitions.

Powar, a resident of Mumbai, brings with him significant experience both as a player and coach. A former Mumbai cricketer, he also had the honour of captaining the India Under-19 cricket team during his playing career. In addition to his playing credentials, Powar is a qualified coach holding the prestigious Level ‘B’ Coaching Certificate from the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), United Kingdom.
