NorthEast United FC Dominate 3rd GSA Youth & Kids League 2025 at Judges’ Field
The 3rd GSA Youth & Kids League 2025, organised by the Guwahati Sports Association (GSA) in association with NorthEast United FC (NEUFC), concluded on Sunday at the historic Judges’ Field, celebrating another successful season of grassroots football in Assam.
The league witnessed intense competition across seven age categories — from Under–7 to Under–19 — with over 60 matches played throughout the season. The tournament served as a platform for budding footballers to showcase their skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship, reinforcing the growing football culture in the region.
Results at a Glance
In the Under–19 category, NorthEast United FC lifted the championship trophy after defeating Greenfield FC by 4–1. Ngamgouhou Mate of NEUFC was adjudged both the Player of the Final and the Player of the Tournament, while Sanoulsen Angousana Singh bagged the Highest Scorer award.
The Under–17 title also went to NorthEast United FC, who beat Greenfield FC 2–0. Sushil Ingti was named Player of the Final, and Dwimo Boro earned the Player of the Tournament honour.
In the Under–15 division, NEUFC (Red) clinched the championship, overcoming Guwahati Warriors FC 2–0. Samuel Daimary and Swrang Boro starred for NEUFC, while Dikshit Daimary of Guwahati Warriors FC won the Player of the Tournament.
Greenfield FC triumphed in the Under–13 category, defeating Guwahati City FC (A) 3–0, with Seijamon Luphó emerging as both the Highest Scorer and Player of the Tournament with an impressive 20 goals.
In the Under–11 segment, Narengi Krira Santha secured the championship by defeating Narengi Royal FC (A) 2–1. Riyaz Ali was named Player of the Final, and Jackson Boro took home the Player of the Tournament award.
The Under–9 and Under–7 categories saw NorthEast United FC continue their dominance, securing victories over Narengi Royal FC (A) and Greenfield FC respectively. Rising stars Rajveer Biswakarma and Nibir Nath stole the spotlight with their stellar performances.
