At least six Dimasa National Liberation Army (DNLA) militants have been killed in an encounter with Assam Police in Karbi Anglong district of Assam this morning on 23 May. The gunfight reportedly took place at Misibailam along the Assam-Nagaland border.
The Assam Police tweeted “In a joint operation, Assam Police & @official_dgar neutralised 6 DNLA militants in Dhansiri Area of Karbi Anglong, during the early morning hours today. A huge cache of arms & ammunition has been recovered.
The Police have recovered a huge cache of arms and ammunition from the possession of slain militants.
