Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that three crore more new houses will be built for the poor in the next five years. Houses will be built for everyone without any discrimination. PM Modi was addressing a huge election rally in Barkura of Nalbari in Assam on Wednesday. More than two lakh people gathered in this rally.

The Prime Minister started his address by praying Maa Kamakhya and Maa Kali. He wished Rangali Bihu to the gathering in Assamese language.

The Prime Minister said that today is the occasion of Ram Navami. After a wait of 500 years, Lord Ram has finally been seated in his grand temple and after just a few minutes, his birth anniversary will be celebrated by applying Surya Tilak to Lord Ram in the Ram temple in the holy city of Ayodhya.

The Prime Minister said that today the country is celebrating the accomplishment of centuries of hard work and sacrifice of generations.

He said that your presence in such large numbers, this mass influx is as to the expansion of the great Brahmaputra. I see this public meeting is three storeyed. Firstly, lakhs of people are sitting in front of me. Thousands of people are sitting up there in front and thousands of people are standing on the road above and listening to the address. The Prime Minister said that in 2014, Modi had brought hope among you. When Modi came in 2019, he brought a belief. And today in 2024, when Modi has come to the land of Assam, Modi has brought guarantees. Modi’s guarantee means guarantee of fulfillment of the guarantee.

He said that now on the day of Bohag Bihu, BJP has also released its resolution letter. BJP is the party which follows the mantra of Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas. There is no discrimination in the schemes of NDA government. Everyone gets their benefits. Now NDA has decided to reach out to every citizen of the country and provide them the facilities mentioned in the letter.

In his address the Prime Minister discussed many other issues. On this occasion, Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, State BJP President Bhabesh Kalita, NDA supported Assam Gana Parishad’s Barpeta Lok Sabha seat candidate Phani Bhushan Chaudhary and many senior BJP leaders, MLAs, ministers etc. were present on the stage along with the Prime Minister.
