Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has accused Russia of carrying out 76 attacks on Ukraine’s energy, oil and gas sectors in the week since US President Donald Trump announced a halt to strikes on energy infrastructure.
Zelenskyy said the latest attacks targeted substations in the Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi and Odesa regions. He also criticised Trump’s decision to waive key Russia-related US sanctions and tariffs, warning that the move could encourage Moscow to continue its military campaign. Trump said the waiver was in the national interest of the United States.
