Ethel Caterham, the world’s oldest living person, celebrated her 117th birthday with family and friends in Surrey, England, on Friday.
Born on August 21, 1909, Caterham became the world’s oldest living person in April 2025. Over her remarkable lifetime, she has witnessed many historic moments and enjoyed several memorable experiences, including stroking a llama and holding hands with King Charles III.
