In the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, two terrorists were killed in an encounter with security forces in Nowpora area of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district yesterday. The identity of the slain terrorists is being ascertained. Arms and ammunition including incriminating materials were recovered from their possession.
The encounter broke-out on Thursday after a joint team of Police, Army and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation in Nowpora.
