Tamulpur District Administration Releases Draft Voter List for By-Election in 26 No. Darrangajuli ST BTC Constituency
The draft electoral roll for the by-election to the 26 No. Darrangajuli Scheduled Tribe (ST) BTC Constituency was officially published today at the conference hall of the Tamulpur District Commissioner’s Office.
As per the guidelines of the Assam State Election Commission, the draft voter list has been prepared with January 1, 2026, as the qualifying date. According to the published draft, a total of 68,431 voters have been registered across 77 polling stations in the constituency.
Of the total voters, 34,221 are male voters and 34,210 are female voters.
According to the district administration, voters who have any claims or objections regarding the draft electoral roll can submit them by November 21. All claims and objections will be examined and resolved by November 27.
Following the completion of this process, the final electoral roll, along with the official list of polling stations, will be published on November 30.
It may be mentioned that the by-election to the 26 No. Darrangajuli ST BTC Constituency has become necessary following the sudden demise of BTC Deputy Speaker Bijit Gaura Narzary.
