Over 1,000 bottles illicit liquor seized in Biswanath
Guwahati, July 2 (NKTV): Biswanath Police in the past two days have seized 1,050 bottles of illicit liquor along with the arrest of two individuals in relation to illegal sale of liquor.
Teams of Biswanath Police had conducted operations at Gahpur, Bihali, Jinjia and Sootea areas that led to recovery of over 1,000 bottles of liquor.
Earlier, Biswanath Police had seized a 1.45 kg stockpile of Ganja at Golia.
“We had also recovered over 2,000 bottles of Arunachali IMFL after conducting a raid at Tokoubari” officials informed, adding that the last few days have been a blow to those involved in illegal sale of liquor in the region. “Our drive shall continue in the days to come” said an official.
