The first edition of the North East Creator Circuit concluded successfully at MAYFAIR Guwahati, bringing creators, brands and industry leaders together on one platform.
The event received more than 300 registrations, with over 125 creators getting the opportunity to participate. Creators from Assam, Meghalaya, Tripura, Mizoram, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh and Manipur attended the event, reflecting the diversity and growing strength of the region’s creator community.
An initiative of Netive, in association with Trident Brandcom, the North East Creator Circuit was created to help creators connect with brands, exchange ideas and explore new opportunities for collaboration.
The event began with a keynote and welcome address by Rudrajeet Kumar Laskar, Executive Editor of Netive and Event Director of the North East Creator Circuit. He spoke about the need for a dedicated platform that offers creators from the Northeast greater recognition, meaningful opportunities and wider visibility.
An engaging panel discussion on “Creator Economy 2.0—Northeast”, followed by a fashion sequence and interactive content-creation zones, kept participants engaged throughout the event.
One of the major highlights was the Creator Icons Awards—The Northeast Edition, where 32 awards were presented to creators and personalities for their work and contribution across different fields.
Among the awardees were ‘Dhing Express’ Hima Das, who received the Pride of the Northeast Award; Amrita Gogoi, honoured with the Voice & Digital Impact Award; Maxina Paonam from Imphal, who received the Style Statement Award; and Preety Kongana, who was named Fashion Creator of the Year.
The evening also featured the North East Brand Awards, recognising brands that have demonstrated innovation through creator-led communication and meaningful collaborations.
“The response to our first edition has been beyond what we expected. Seeing creators from across the Northeastern states under one roof was truly special. This is only the beginning, and we hope to build the North East Creator Circuit into a strong platform connecting regional talent with brands and opportunities,” said event organisers Sudha Laskar and Rupak Dutta.
With insightful conversations, awards, fashion, entertainment and networking, the inaugural North East Creator Circuit marked an important step towards building a more connected and visible creator ecosystem in Northeast India.
The organisers thanked all the creators, speakers, jury members, sponsors, partners and team members who helped make the inaugural edition a success.
