Guwahati, June 30 (NKTV): Assam Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma has informed that he is not aware of any proceeding regarding the re-integration of Bodoland People’s Front (BPF) into the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) led Mitrajoot Alliance.
The CM said that he is unaware of any such proceeding and thus, would not be able to comment on the renewal of BJP-BPF alliance.
“We are trying to run a Government with everyone from Assam on board. We will respect the political parties who support us. However, a political alliance is a completely different thing. We can move forward in such matters only after receiving a proposition” said Sarma.
It may be mentioned here that news have been recently circulating regarding the BPF deciding to snap ties with the Grand Alliance.
