Guwahati, August 09 (NKTV): Assam Health Minister Keshab Mahanta today announced the new SOP for Assam that shall come to effect from 5:00 AM of August 10, 2021.
As per the new SOP, inter district movement across Assam has been put on hold. However, the Health Minister informed that there is possibility of allowing the same after August 15.
Curfew shall be in effect across the state from 6:00 PM to 5:00 AM.
Public gathering is allowed up to 10 persons for marriage or funeral programme. Wearing of mask is mandatory at all public places.
All educational institutes shall continue with online classes.
