In Chhattisgarh, a Maoist was killed in an encounter with security forces in the Bijapur district today. Based on intelligence inputs about the presence of Maoists in the Bhairamgarh area of the district, the District Reserve Guard team was on a search operation. This morning, an encounter took place between police and Maoists in the forests of Keshkutul.
