Guwahati, July 31 (NKTV): Several students sustained serious injuries as Police lathi charged them while protesting at Salakati High School in kokrajhar.
The students were staging protest, demanding proper declaration of HSLC results.
Students along with guardians came out in numbers expressing dissatisfaction over results.
Agitated students gheraoed the school complex and the police resorted to lathi charge to disperse the students.
It may be mentioned here that out of the 284 appearing students of Salakati High School, only 47 had passed the Board exams.
Injured students have been rushed for treatment.
