Guwahati, August 13 (NKTV): Indian opener KL Rahul has become the first Indian player to score a test hundred at the iconic Lords’s cricket ground in 31 years. The Karnataka player reached his ton by facing 212 deliveries in the first innings of the 2nd test.

Current Indian coach Ravi Shastri was the last Indian batsman to smash a ton at Lord’s in July 1990. Meanwhile, in the second test, Team India ended the first day for 276/3 after rain delayed the initial first session. KL Rahul is currently unbeaten on 127*(248), while his opening partner Rohit Sharma was dismissed for 83(145). Skipper Virat scored 42 of 103 but lost his wicket to Ollie Robinson.
