Former captain of the Indian cricket team Sourav Ganguly cheered high praises to young Assamese cricketer Riyan Parag. The former captain has expressed his pleasure in the developments done by Riyan as a player. Ganguly said ‘Riyan Parag has been playing for Rajasthan Royals for years now and I have seen his development as a player‘. He also praised Riyan’s father Parag Das who played for the Assam Ranji team during the 90s.
Ganguly also wished the best of luck to Riyan Parag for his cricketing career and hoped he will shine in the coming days. Riyan Parag currently is out of form and has been often criticized by former players for his poor run in IPL. Riyan had scored 27 runs till now this season with highest score of 20 coming against Punjab Kings in Guwahati.
