HBS Government completes one month | CM announces welfare schemes

Guwahati, June 10 (NKTV): With the Himanta Biswa Sarma led government completing one month in Office in the state of Assam, the CM inaugurated the ‘Chief Minister’s Sishu Seva Scheme’ to the benefit of those children of the state who lost their parents due to Covid-19.

Sarma also announced another scheme for those the ladies who lost their husbands due to Covid-19. The CM announced to provide one time assistance of Rs 2.5 lakh, widow pension and the enrollment in the Orunodoi scheme.

A 300 bedded Covid Hospital was also inaugurated at Sarusajai today (Read News Here).

The CM also informed that in the War against Drugs across the state of Assam, over 500 peddlers have been arrested and drugs worth Rs 25 crore approximately have been seized.
