Guwahati, June 04 (NKTV): Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma after assuming charge as Chief minister directed Assam Police to launch a massive operation against drugs and narcotics that is going on openly in the state. A large quantity of narcotics has been seized so far in the continuous operation by state police force.
Meanwhile, a recent tweet from Cachar police has garnered special attention on social media. A large quantity of drugs were seized in a raid conducted by Cachar police on Thursday. The Cachar police posted the news on Twitter with some exceptions.
In the tweet, the Cachar Police used the Superhit Hindi Song ‘Main Toh Raste Se Ja Raha Tha’ from Govinda and Karisma Kapoor starrer ‘Coolie No. 1’.
It may be mentioned that several social media posts of Assam police had earlier also managed to grab the attention of the netizens.
